Monday, May 28th 1200pm

Parade starts at Noon from Mill St. intersection with Cty Rte. 74 and goes north on Cty Rte. 74 to the Glen View Cemetery with Memorial Day Services immediately following. Public is welcome to decorate and ride their bikes in the parade if they so wish.

This event will allow our firefighters to highlight the duties and rewards that come from being a volunteer firefighter in your own community. Stop by and see what it is all about.

Pulteney Fire Department Celebrates 75 Years

The Pulteney Fire Department is proud to be celebrating 75 years of outstanding service to our community.
To commensurate this achievement the fire department will be hosting a community event on Sunday, August 28 2011. This event is open to the public and we encourage all ages to come out and celebrate with us.

7:00-10:00 Pancake breakfast ($5 per person) (Possible Helicopter
Medevac Display)
10:00-1:00 Games for adults & kids, Andy The Ambulance appearance,
music, various demonstrations and information tables
11:00-1:00 Free hot dog and drink
11:00 Auto extrication demonstration
12:00 Tours of the firehouse, fire trucks, & a slide show

Fire Queen Contest

The Pulteney Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary will host the annual Fire Queen contest on Wednesday, May 18th at 6pm at the firehouse. For more information please contact Amanda Ballam at 522-4408.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. TOWN OF PULTENEY RESIDENT
2. SHOULD BE 14-18 YEARS OLD
3. MUST BE IN GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING
4. MUST HAVE PARENTS CONSENT

The Pulteney Fire Department will host an open house/recruitment drive on April 9th from 2pm to 6pm. Tours of the firehouse and of our equipment. Find out what being a firefighter and emt is all about. Recruiting men and women from 14 to 18 for our Junior Fire Department and anyone over 18 for our firefighter program.
